My husband and I recently celebrated our anniversary at Millcroft Inn and we decided to try the Bluebird Cafe. We definitely were not disappointed. We were greeted by the owner and given complimentary Prosecco,for our anniversary, when we were seated. Skylar our server was fantastic and answered all my questions about the menu. The food was fresh and delicious. We will definitely be back when we're in the area
Was in the area working across the street from this place and thought we’d give it a try. Well...thank GOD we did bc this place is UNBELIEVABLE on every level ! It’s small but clean, comfy and cozy. The service (thanks Skylar!) was amazing, and the owner was so nice too (nice meeting you today Rick!). The food OMG honestly, it blows away any place we’ve ever been to in Toronto and GTA! The shrimps in Gorgonzola WOW, the scallops with veggies & potatoes WOW AGAIN & the veal Marsala !! Our new favourite place, so we will definitely be making the 1 hour drive back up there again, hopefully soon !! 5 Thumbs up
My family dined at Bluebird for the first time since moving to the area a few months ago after reading so many amazing reviews about this place, and now we know why! The service was excellent (our server Melody was so pleasant) and the owner came by a couple times to check on us. The food was incredible, and desserts are made in-house by the co-owner. It can be tough to get a reservation on peak days/times, but surely worth the wait! 10/10 recommend!!
The food and service were exceptionally great! I had heard a lot about the restaurant, but I never expected to have such an amazing dining experience. Our server, Skyler, was attentive and friendly, and the owner personally checked in with us a couple of times—a truly thoughtful and welcoming gesture. We ordered the oven-baked pizza (the day’s feature), Pasquale’s Fufferelli, and the pasta of the day. Everything was full of flavor and perfectly prepared. We also enjoyed some delicious mocktails—the Mango Mule and the Elderflower Spritz were both refreshing and beautifully crafted. Highly recommended—we’ll definitely be back!
We came here to celebrate my birthday with friends, and it was an amazing experience! The food was delicious, and the staff provided excellent service. They even accommodated us bringing a birthday cake, which made the celebration even more special. We’ll definitely be dining here often and making this our go-to place for celebrations!
Once again, we had a fabulous dinner tonight. We had the trout as well as the veal medallions and shrimp and cheesecake for dessert. You can’t go wrong with this place. Really the best food and value anywhere. It’s our top choice of restaurants in Orangeville.
We came in for a sandwich but the waiters shared the specials and we right away changed our minds! The food was absolutely delicious!! My little one had a hard time and had been crying lots on and off and really appreciate that they did not get bothered by it. Even better Melody (aka baby whisperer) asked to take her for a stroll so I could peacefully finish eating, which was much much appreciated and helped to calm baby for a bit as well! Thanks again and can definitley recommend!
Our food was fabulous as always. I had chicken with scallops, fresh veg, and potatoes. My wife had penned Palermo. Both are fantastic. Our server, Melody, was friendly and took great care of us. Oh, and dessert... white chocolate cheesecake is delicious!! You can't go wrong with Bluebird!
